URGENT ROAD CLOSURE Chequers Street

Urgent Road Closure – Chequers Street, Rochester 

It will be necessary to close Chequers Street, Rochester from 24th March 2021 for up to 5 days.

The alternative route is via Chequers Street, Lower Rochester Road,Brompton Farm Road, Gravesend Road, Forge Lane, School Lane.

This is to enable Emergency structural and surfacing works to bridge to be carried out by Kent County Council.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)

Kent County Council gives notice that Pear Tree Lane, Shorne will be closed to through traffic, on or after 31st December 2020 for up to 3 days.

The road will be closed at ‘Woodside’.

The alternative route is via Tanyard Hill, Forge Lane, Gravesend Road, Pear Tree Lane & Vice Versa.

This closure is necessary to enable restoration of customers services to be carried out by UK Power Networks.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.

Temporary Road Closure – Castle Lane, Gravesend – 23 November 2020
Because of gas main replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Castle Lane, Gravesend, as per the below or until the works have been completed.
Castle Lane – closed at the junction with Lower Higham Road
23 November 2020 for 3 weeks.
 
The alternative route is via Lower Higham Road, Chalk Road, A226 Rochester Road and vice versa.
