Over the last 25 years I have worked mainly in the Leisure Industry. I have experienced working within public and private companies as well as Charity set-ups. Having managed many centres I have also been involved with PFI government schemes for new builds and been involved heavily in Health and Safety and Environmental accreditations. However, my favourite part of working in Leisure was always the day to day operations and working with staff and customers. I now work closer to home and work as a Site Manager within a local academy, which gives me more free time for the family and myself.

I have lived in Higham since 1997 and have always been very proud of where we live, my two children went to Higham Primary school before moving on to secondary and I have been a Governor at Higham now for 7 years – 4 years as a Parent Governor and now 3 as a Community Governor. I have been interested in joining the Parish Council for a few years now and would like to focus on community events and providing as many services for the parishioners as we can to make Higham a great place to live for everyone.
